There is something about the concept of tribes and the rituals and mysticism that sprouts up around them. One thing that I like to kick around in my head is the evolution of those tribes into the modern day. I may need to make some urban armor to go along with this. Of course, these are all ceremonial.
The beginnings of this piece were done when I went to Snowfarm. The shaft is actually an old glass blowpipe that was beyond repair. To that was welded a few pieces found in the scrap pile.
The spear head is plasma cut and finished. The two pieces are tied together with cord and then embellished with various techniques that I have picked up here and there. There is chain maile, bead weaving, glass work and kumihimo in there.
