Unlike my last stencil piece (which was done mostly digitally to see how I could lay something like it out), this is actually a mixed media piece done by using hand cut stencils on a 11" x 14" piece of Plexiglas. The background was made in illustrator and printed out, while everything else was painted on using a stencil and either an airbrush or spray paints.

I had a hard time photographing this since the flash reflects off of the plex, so I actually ended up photographing the piece at an angle and then adjusting for it in photoshop.

This is the first time I've tried doing this sort of thing. I'm sure I'll refine the process as I explore it some more. I'm really liking plex as a material. It has some interesting properties. I'll have to play around with it some more. I'll just have to find a place where I can buy it in bulk.

At some point, I'll probably end up buying a silk-screening setup.
